Keum Boo Heart Shaped Silver and Gold Necklace

Keum boo is an ancient Korean art form used to apply 14 Kt gold to pure silver. This necklace was made using that technique. I then treated the silver chemically to turn it black, thus highlighting the gold.

This necklace has been coated with a museum quality preservative wax to protect it. The chain is sterling silver that has also been treated chemically to turn it black. The chain on this necklace is 18 inches long with a 2 inch extension.

The necklace you receive will be very similar to the one pictured. Slight variations do occur in handmade items. Your necklace will arrive in a gift box.
