About
I started making jewelry in 1997 by taking a basic bead stringing class. I was immediately smitten. I fell in love with the variety of beads and the many ways they could be combined to create different effects.
I was not content with just stringing beads however. As fast as I could master one technique, I wanted to challenge myself to learn a different one. I passed through many phases to end up where I am now.
My passion now lies with wire and metal. I enjoy starting with plain, straight wire and bending, weaving or forging it into a beautiful piece of jewelry; or forging a piece of sheet silver or gold into something unique and memorable. It’s very important to me that I create jewelry that is as durable as it is beautiful. I accomplish this by using high quality materials and techniques that are time tested and reliable.
