DESCRIPTION
Keum boo is an ancient Korean art form used to apply 14 Kt gold to pure silver. These earrings were made using that technique. I then treated the silver chemically to turn it black, thus highlighting the gold.
These earrings have been coated with a museum-quality preservative wax to protect them. The ear wires are gold-filled.
The earrings you receive will be very similar to the ones pictured. Slight variations do occur in handmade items.
SIZE
These earrings measure 1 inch from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the heart. The heart is 1/2 inch wide, and slightly convex. I’ll be happy to make these earrings in a different size for you if you like.
